DESCRIPTION:
Made in England by Lesney and produced as a Superfast model from 1978 to 1981 the Armoured (US spelling of Armored on the base) Security Truck was first released in Red and later in Green promo version for Dresdner Bank. In both case the roof is more commonly white although a cream version is available. Whilst the Red models can be found in different shades they always bear the brand 'Wells Fargo' however the decal over the front wheel arch can read either '732 2031' or the more scarce 'QZ 2031'.

This particular model is a lighter Red and bears the '732 2031' number. The vehicle is in excellent condition down graded due only to chipped decal.

BOX:
The original box (Type K) is in excellent condition, with usual age related scuffing, good colour retention and firmness and all end flaps intact.

GAUGE / SCALE:
Known as 'Box Scale' (made to fit the box) Matchbox 1-75 and Superfast vehicles vary in scale and can be anything between 1:50 / 1:110

GRADE:
C08 - Excellent

NB: Our grading system was obviously created for Die-cast models and is occasionally applied to others (plastic vehicles, locomotives, rolling stock, etc.) to help give an indication of an items condition or comparison against a new one of the same type. In these instances it can only be used to compare appearance and not operational suitability.
